Bangladesh and Denmark yesterday signed an agreement under which Denmark will provide assistance to ensure RMG workers’ security and improve the health sector.
Secretaries of Labour Ministries of the two countries signed the deal at a high-level conference on readymade garment sector in the capital city.
Danish Minister for Trade and Development Cooperation Mogens Jensen and Foreign Minister of Bangladesh AH Mahmud Ali were present at the function.
Earlier on Wednesday, a five-member delegation, led by Mogens Jensen, held a meeting with the finance minister at the latter’s official residence.
