A Dhaka court has accepted the petition of Sonali Bank which sought inclusion of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in the case filed against directors of Dandy Dyeing Limited for defaulting on a Tk45.49 crore loan.
Dhaka Artha Rin Adalat 1 (money loan court) acting judge Ruksana Parvin Happy passed the order on Monday afternoon, responding to the plea of the lawyers of Sonali Bank.

The petition also sought the inclusion of Koko's wife Shormila Rahman Sithi and their daughters Juthiya Rahman and Jahiya Rahman in the case.
Responding to the plea, the court also cleared the way for the lawyers to make Koko's wife and their daughters defendants in the case after the death Koko.
As per law, the plaintiff can file the petition seeking inclusion of Koko's family members in the case as the deceased has no son, said Sonali Bank lawyers.
The court also fixed April 12 for framing issue in the case.
The case was filed against Khaleda Zia’s sons Tarique Rahman and Koko, among other directors of Dandy Dyeing, as the defendants did not repay the Tk45.49 crore loan.
