A minor boy has been killed when a speedy-driven three wheeler hit him from behind in the district's Bhairab upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased is Tuhin, 7, son of Hasan Mia, of Aganagar village.
Witnesses said a rashly-driven three wheeler hit Tuhin from behind on Bhairab- Aganagar highway around 10:30am while he was crossing the road, leaving him seriously injured.
Later, Tuhin died on the way to Bhairab Upazila Health Complex, said Badrul Alam Talukdar, OC Bhairab police station.
“The police seized the vehicle but its driver fled the scene.”
