Customs Intelligence officials have detained a Pakistani national in possession with 325 cartons of cigarettes at Shahjalal airport.
The detainee is Md Belayet Hossain, 50.
Assistant Commissioner Nahida Aktar of Customs Intelligence said Belayet landed at the airport by an Air Arabia flight on Saturday morning.
She said legal action against the detainee was under way.
