The Citi-Anando Alo Sahitya Award 2015 was announced at the Bangla Academy premises in the capital on Thursday.
Emdadul Haq Milon’s novel “Sharey Tin Haat Bhumi,” Shamsuzzaman Khan’s collected essays “Rashtrya Dhramo o Samskriti,” and Rezauddin Istalin’s poem “Boidata” have awarded in category A while Mostaq Ahmmad and Alam Talukder got listed jointly for literature for adolescents.
Category B writers awarded debut work which includes actor-model Kusum Sikder’s poetry “Neel Kafer Kobi,” Mahbub Aziz’s “Thik Sondhyar Agey” and Galib Rahman’s “Je Sutoy Bona Jai Samatol Abash.”
The awards will be conferred to the winners in the first week of next month. Channel i will telecast the ceremony live.
Ananda Alo, a fortnightly entertainment magazine, in collaboration with Citibank NA, Bangladesh introduced the award in 2008.
