Mobile operator Robi has made the highest ever profit in its 18 years of operation in Bangladesh with accumulation of Tk439.60 crore in 2014.
Robi's parent company Axiata Ltd published a report on its web on Wednesday.
It is second largest mobile operator in the country in terms of the earned revenue of Tk4,942.3 crore revenue and 11.24% net profit in the last year.
According to the report, Robi marked Tk4,517.1 crore revenue and Tk365.2 crore net profit in 2013 which increased by 9% and 20% in 2014.
The report also mentioned that the revenue growth was driven by growth of 120% data revenue, device revenue and interconnect revenue.
