Two brothers have been killed as a truck rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Bahubal on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Habiganj.
The deceased are Sohel, 32, and Ruhel Mia, 17, sons of Altab Hossain of Sughar village under sadar upazila.
Highway police station OC Ejajur Rahman Chowdhury said the accident took place around 8am on Friday.
He said: "Ruhel Mia died on the spot and Sohel was injured when a truck rammed into their CNG-driven auto-rickshaw. Later, Sohel died on way to hospital."
Police recovered the bodies.
