The government will take decision on holding Wednesday’s scheduled SSC examinations in the afternoon.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, who is now staying in Shlhet, will hold a press conference in this regard in the afternoon, Md Sultan Ahmed, personal secretary to the minister, told the Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday afternoon.
In the briefing, the minister will inform nation whether Wednesday’s scheduled SSC and equivalent exams will be held or not, the official said.
BNP-led 20-party alliance extended the ongoing 72-hour nationwide hartal till Friday morning.
The hartal was enforced from 6am on Sunday and was set to end at 6am Wednesday.
