A person has been killed and 15 others injured when a train rammed into a bus at the AK Khan level crossing of Pahartali in Chittagong.
The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained.
Pahartali police OC Azizur Rahman Miah said the Chittagong-bound Meghna Express train hit a bus, while the driver was trying to cross the rail crossing at 11:10am.
He said: “We have heard about two deaths. But we recovered one body from the spot.”
The injured were admitted to Chittagong Medical Collge Hospital, added the OC.
