A truck owner has been died and another was injured in a tire blast incident at Kaitola Bazaar area of Mirzapur upazila of the district.
The deceased truck owner is Abdul Latif,45, son of late Helal Uddin hailed from Beltoli village of the upazila and the injured is Zahid Hossain,14, a garage worker.
Officer-in-Charge of Mirzapur police station Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan said a tire of a truck suddenly blasted while it was pumping leaving Latif and Zahid injured on Wednesday morning.
Locals rushed them to Mirzapur Kumudini Hospital immediately where on duty doctor declared Latif dead, he added.
