Two persons have been shot to death in a clash between two groups of villagers at Kalirchar village under sadar upazila.
The deceased are Foyez Miji, 30, and his brother-in-law Mohon Bepari, 45.
ASP Md Imdad Hossain said Foyez Miji had a longstanding dispute with his cousin Mister Miji.
"Following the feud, both groups locked in a clash around 8pm on Sunday. At one stage, Mister's group shot Foyez and his brother-in-law Mohon," said the ASP.
He said the duo were rushed to Munshiganj General Hospital where they died while undergoing treatment.
