With the last minute goal, Malaysia won the Bangabandhu Gold Cup final by 3-2 against host Bangladesh.
Md Faizad of Malaysia scored the decisive goal in the 91st minute of the match.
Earlier, Bangladesh drew level with Malaysia, in eight minutes of the start of the second half of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup Final after Malaysia took a 2-goal lead in the first half of the final that kicked off at 5pm.
The Malaysians scored the first goal at 31 minutes of the game and the second one at 39th minute. The first goal came from a free kick while the second one from a counter attack.
In the very beginning of the match, Bangladesh's Zahid faced a bad tackle, had to go out of the field.
Bangladesh missed the first opportunity to score at 11 minutes. Another chance came at 14 minutes.
From the beginning, Bangladesh played attacking football. But they seemed to be loosing control over the game with the time.
At 29th minute, Malaysia also failed to utilize a chance, when one of their player received a long pass inside the penalty box with only few defenders and goalkeeper.
