Students have again formed a human chain in front of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office demanding withdrawal of the ongoing general strike and blockade of streets and waterways.
The students of Cambrian School and College and Gulshan Model School and College took part in the human chain around 12:30pm on Wednesday.
They also urged Khaleda Zia, who has been staying at the Gulshan office since Jan 3, to let the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examinations proceed without any hindrance.
Minar Al Amin, a student of Cambrian College, said: “We have not been able to carry on with our normal academic activities for more than a month. Now the SSC exams of our brothers and sisters have been stopped.”
“If this continues, we will not be able to complete our educational normally,” he added.
Last week, the students of a school in Dhaka's Badda formed a human chain and area urged Khaleda Zia to withdraw her ongoing political programme.
