Wednesday’s SSC exam Saturday

The government has rescheduled the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exam which was to be held on Wednesday due to the extension of the ongoing hartal enforced by the BNP-led alliance.

Now, Wednesday’s exam will be held on Saturday, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement in a press briefing on Tuesday afternoon.

The exam will begin at 10am and continue till 1pm, the minister said.

Earlier, the SSC exams were scheduled to start on Monday. But, the exam was rescheduled for Friday due to the hartal.

Bangla first paper exam will start at 9am on Friday and Bangla second paper exam will start at 10am on Saturday.

On Tuesday, BNP extended its nationwide 72-hour general strike till Thursday 6pm.
