Jon Kabir and Aparna Ghosh are pairing up again to appear in a TV play titled “Ami Akash Pathabo.” Directed by Shafayet Mansoor Rana, the show is a romantic drama which will be aired on the Valentine’s Day.
Jon, the former member of the alternative rock band Black and currently a member of Indalo, worked with Aparna once before, in a TV play titled “Otopor...” a year ago, directed by Shafayet.
“Ami Akash Pathabo” is one of the three plays based on stories submitted by participants of Close-Up Kachey Ashar Golpo, an initiative taken by Unilever Bangladesh Limited on the occasion of the Valentine’s Day.
Filming of the play will start on Friday. A song has already been recorded for the play; written by the director himself, the song is performed and composed by Raef Al Hasan Rafa.
