One hundred and sixty-four members of Bangladesh Police have been awarded the 'Inspector General's (IG's) Exemplary Good Services Badge' for their outstanding performance in 2014, BSS reported citing a police headquarter's release.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Hoque on Friday adorned the police personnel with the badge at Rajarbagh Police Lines in the city.
The cops were rewarded for their courageous role, honesty and dedication to duties and recovering arms, ammunitions, drugs and smuggled goods and controlling crimes in 2014
On the occasion of the Police-Week 2015, the IGP distributed the award to the police personnel, including officers and constables, the release added.
