A group of online activists staged protests against the ongoing arson attacks around the country in the name of strikes and blockades called by BNP led 20-party alliance. The protest was held in front of the national press club on Friday morning.
From the protest, the speakers called for resistance against the killing of innocent people – most of whom were killed in arson, or died due to injuries suffered during the attacks during the BNP-led blockade.
The program was conducted by Habibullah Mesbah, General secretary of Bangladesh Online Activist Forum; Kabir Chowdhury Tanmoy, the president of the organisation, presided over the protest.
Among others, Monoronjon Ghoshal, Kaji Masud, Md Abdul Jalil, Abdul Khalek also spoke at the protest.
