President Abdul Hamid along with heads of the states of different countries paid homage to late Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Royal Protocol Court.
The president along with other heads of the states of different countries gathered on the Royal Protocol Court premises on Saturday evening and paid homage to the late king, Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Md Shahidul Islam told BSS after the ceremony.
During the programme, Abdul Hamid exchanged pleasantries with new king Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and congratulated him on his becoming new king of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Earlier on the day, the president reached Saudi to join the funeral of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
