Neela, a versatile singer and songwriter with roots in Bangla classics, has released her debut album titled “Neelar Gaan.”
The album came out on Thursday. Palash, singer and former vocal of band Radioactive, has composed fusion music for this album. Mushroom Entertainment brought out the album, while it was released on iTunes, Amazon, and many other digital music platforms.
The album has nine tracks, one of them a Tagore song and another one a Nazrul song.
Neela’s harmonic curiosity extend beyond genres as she also loves pop and rock music, but she also possesses a rustic undertone of Lalon
Geeti. Growing up, she took formal music lessons at Shaptak and Chhayanaut, two highly acclaimed institutes that train students in Nazrul Sangeet and Rabindra Sangeet, respectively.
Neela has received numerous awards in Bangladesh and also performs regularly in the US and Canada.
