3 policemen hurt in Chittagong blast

Three on-duty police constables have been injured after miscreants hurled crude bomb on a police patrol team in the port city's Chandgaon area on Wednesday evening.

The victims are Ramij, Roni and Ripon of Chandgaon police station.

Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP)’s Deputy Commissioner (DC) (North) Poritosh Gosh said: "Mscreants hurled crude bombs on a police patrol team near Rose Garden Club of Purantan Chandgaon Thana area around 7:30pm while they were discharging their duties, leaving three policemen injured."

"They were sent to hospital after the incident. The police are conducting drives to arrest the culprits, who are responsible for the attack."
