An Army person has been electrocuted in the district's Nabiganj upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased is soldier Arjun Kumar Jha, of Rangpur district.
Assistant Police Super of the district Masudur Rahman said: “Arjun came in contact with a high voltage wire at Jhitka camp around 11am while connecting electric cable.”
“The army man succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the upazila health complex.”
