American-born British actress Sienna Miller is set to follow in Emma Stone’s footsteps and star as Sally Bowles in the final six weeks of Broadway’s Cabaret.
Sienna will play the fishnet-wearing and bowler-hat-loving chanteuse from February 17 opposite Alan Cumming, as he plays the lewd Emcee. This isn’t her first time treading the boards, after starring in Patrick Marber’s “After Miss Julie” in 2009, and later in the 2011 West End revival of Terence Rattigan’s “Flare Path.”
Sienna will also be seen in forthcoming Clint Eastwood-directed movie “American Sniper,” which she stars alongside Bradley Cooper in as his wife. The casting announcement comes just days after it was revealed that Emma will be playing the role for an extra two weeks in the production, which is due to end on March 29.
