Pickets have vandalised at least 15 vehicles in Sailkupa upazila of Jhenaidah district on Wednesday night, the second day of countrywide blockade enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
Locals said the pickets of BNP and Jamaat-e Islami damaged at least 15 trucks and buses parked near Chariarbeal area on Jhenaidah-Kushtia highway in the upazila about 10pm.
However, Sailkupa police station Officer-in-Charge Sagir Mia told the Dhaka Tribune he had been informed about the vandalism of four trucks and a bus.
