No Bangladeshi national has been found in the list of missing AirAsia flight that lost contact with air traffic control on Sunday.
According to Indonesia AirAsia, there were 155 passengers and seven crew on board.
Citing Indonesian media, Reuters reported that 157 people on the flight were Indonesian, with three from South Korea and one each from Singapore and Malaysia.
An AirAsia flight carrying 162 people from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore lost contact with air traffic control on Sunday, Indonesian Transport Ministry official Hadi Mustofa said.
He said flight QZ 8501 lost contact with the Jakarta air traffic control tower at 6:17am Singapore time.
Kuala Lumpur-based AirAsia said a search-and-rescue operation had been launched.
Mustofa said the plane had asked for an unusual route before it lost contact.
The incident comes at the end of a disastrous year for Malaysia's airlines.
