Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to go to Rajshahi tomorrow on a daylong visit to attend the passing-out parade of the BCS 31st batch of probationary Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASPs) and to open and lay the foundation stones of 11 development projects.
After arrival at Bangladesh Police Academy in Sarda in Charghat upazila in the morning, the Prime Minister will join the passing-out parade of the BCS 31st batch of probationary Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASPs).
The Prime Minister will take salute, review parade and distribute medals among the best probationary ASPs. She will also plant a sapling on the premises of Police Officers' Mess.
Later, Sheikh Hasina will share views with those injured in the violence of BNP and Jamaat-Shibir terrorists during the pre-election and post-election period in different areas of the Rajshahi district.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate Ashrayan Project-2 of Bagmara Upazila by unveiling its plaque from Sarda Government Pilot High School Ground.
She will also lay foundation stones of Architecture Building of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), 100-bed girls dormitory of Rajshahi College, extended building of Engineering and Survey Institute, Rajshahi (North) Fire Service and Civil Defense Station, Bagha High School, Durgapur Pilot High School, Durgapur Fire Service and Civil Defense Station, Puthiya Freedom Fighters Complex, Paba Freedom Fighters Complex, Mohanpur Freedom Fighters Complex and 33/11 KV substation in Bagha and 10 MVA Substation of Palli Bidduth Samity in Natore by the same venue.
Before flying back to Dhaka, the Prime Minister and the Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will address a public meeting at Sarda Govt Pilot High School Ground in the afternoon.
