Dhaka Tribune signs MoU with IUB

The Dhaka Tribune, country's fastest growing newspaper, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Independent University of Bangladesh with a view to train its journalists on climate change.

Dhaka Tribune Editor Zafar Sobhan and Vice Chancellor of the IUB Professor M Omar Rahman signed the MoU on behalf of their respective side at the VC conference room of the university on Wednesday morning.

Director of International Centre for Climate Change and Development Dr Saleemul Haque, Masroora Haque, coordinator(communication) of ICCCAD were among others present in the agreement signing programme.

Masroora Haque said: “Under the MoU, the Dhaka Tribune will publish a new page on climate change and we will train the journalists about how they should address the issues related to climate change.”
