Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and his sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan have mesmerised the Dhaka audience with their sarod performance at the recently concluded Bengal Classical Music Festival 2014. Now, the sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan along with his two sons will perform at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo, Norway, on December 11.
Ayaan said: “I am honoured and thrilled to be performing at this prestigious event. We all are thrilled to perform alongside Queen Latifah, Steven Tyler, Bolly Flex and Laura Mvula. We are presenting a piece called Raga for Peace. We plan to give a flavour of India through our music.” Another celebrated singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is also expected to perform at the ceremony.
