The lone Formula 4 racer of Bangladesh, Mahfujur Rahman Tushar, flies off to New Delhi tomorrow to take part in the final round of the 17th JK Tyre Racing Championship, slated for Sunday at Buddha International Circuit in Noyda. Tushar will represent the Avalance Racing Team.
Last year, Tushar was among the top 15 racers but in this edition, the young driver wants to finish in the top 10.
Before departing here for India, Tushar said, “The circuit is a F1 circuit and it will be my second race in a F1 circuit. I will be test driving this Friday and appear in the qualifiers this Saturday. There are two high speed corners in the track and it is quite risky. I seek blessings of the people.”
Tushar is a first year student at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. Shah Cement will be bearing all his expenses as the sponsor.
