Garment workers have blocked road in front of Dhaka EPZ in Savar for half an hour following the death of a fellow in a road accident.
The angry workers also vandalised several buses and set one bus on fire on Monday morning.
Deceased Mukta, 27, was an operator of Youngone Garment.
Ashulia police station Officer-in-Charge Sheikh Badrul Alam said a bus run Mukta over while she was crossing road in the morning, leaving her dead on the spot.
Hearing the news, workers of the factory took to the street and blocked Nabinagar-Kaliakoir highway.
Later, police rushed in and removed the workers from the highway.
Additional police have been deployed in front of DEPZ to avert any untoward situation, said the OC.
