A soldier of Bangladesh Army has been killed in a road accident on Sylhet-Tamabil road at Talepara area in Sylhet.
The deceased is Mizanur Rahman.
Three other army members were also injured in the accident.
Sylhet Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner Jedan Al Musa said: “A speedy truck collided with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw carrying the army men on Tuesday, leaving Mizan dead on the spot.”
His body was handed over to the authorities concerned after the autopsy, added Jedan.
The injured were admitted to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.
