War crimes report against 2 siblings finalised

The investigation wing of the International Crimes Tribunal has finalised its report against two siblings accused of crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.

The accused are ATM Nasir Uddin Ahmmed alias Captain ATM Nasir and his brother Shamsuddin Ahmed hailing from Kishoreganj.

Of the accused, ATM Nasir Uddin Ahmmed is on run.

They have been made accused in five charges including kidnapping, murders, loot, and arson.

The investigation wing made the disclosure at a press briefing on Tuesday morning.

According to the investigators, the 120-page investigation report will be submitted to the prosecution on Wednesday.

They will also urge to the tribunal to issue arrest warrant against the accused, said lawyer M Sanaul Haque, who read out the report on behalf of the team.
