The government has appointed veteran journalist Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury as the honorary part-time media adviser of the Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina.
A PID handout stated that Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury will discharge his duties according to the directives and advise of the prime minister.
He had been the media adviser of the Prime Minister and Awami League President, Sheikh Hasina, unofficially.
