Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed that there could be a sequel to “The Running Man.”
The action hero said at a special Q&A in London on Saturday that there are rumblings of a follow-up to his 1987 sci-fi movie, while also giving updates on other sequel projects.
Speaking about returning to the role of Conan the Barbarian in “The Legend of Conan,” he said: “It’s an honour to be asked back after all these years, back to the franchise. This is really wild.
“Harrison Ford was recently asked to get back to ‘Star Wars,’ but it’s very rare to come back after so many years.”
He continued “They’re doing a Twins sequel, to be called Triplets. I’ve read the first draft.
“There’s rumblings of a new ‘Running Man’ movie, so it’s a great honour to be asked back.”
Schwarzenegger will star in “Terminator: Genisys,” to be released in the UK on July 3, 2015 and in the US on July 1.
