The 13th Power Bangladesh International Expo, organised by The US-based Conference and Exhibition Management Services Ltd (CEMS) along with its Bangladesh chapter, will be held on November 13-15 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital’s Agargaon area.
At a press conference in the city yesterday, Meherun N Islam, president of the CEMS-Global, said two concurrent exhibitions, titled 11th Renewable Energy Bangladesh International Expo and 8th Solar Bangladesh International Expo, will take place at the same venue.
Addressing the press conference, Meherun said this exhibition would bring together all stakeholders in the power and energy industry under one roof.
“A significant leap can be taken in Bangladesh’s power and energy sector by close interaction between the exhibitors from over 11 countries and the local entrepreneurs, leading to successful partnerships and joint ventures to accomplish the government’s vision of fulfilling people’s aspirations and successfully facing the challenges of the sector,” she said.
“With the display of latest innovations and technology of the world in power and energy sector in the exhibition, with concurrent exhibitions on renewable energy, the expo will play an important role in familiarising the local entrepreneurs with the newest technology right at our doorsteps, in this highly potential sector of our country with a huge scope for expansion,” she told reporters in attendance.
