The body of lighter vessel Karnaphuli 5 driver has been recovered from Meghna river in Lakshmipur.
Ramgati police station Officer-in-Charge Rezaul Karim said driver Nur's floated body was recovered from the river on Monday morning.
Of the missing staffs of the vessel, Parvez was rescued from a char of Meghna on Sunday.
Nur Newaz along with six others went missing on Saturday after a clash between the workers of the lighter vessel regarding the smuggling of fertilisers in Lakshmipur.
Abdus Salam, owner of the vessel Karnafuli 5, filed a case against five people in connection with the clash on Sunday morning.
Sources said some workers attacked the driver of the ship when he tried to stop them from smuggling fertilisers on Saturday, leaving seven people injured.
Later, the workers dumped the injured into Meghna river.
Ship staff Parvez said the clash ensured over the feud centring the smuggling of 2000 sacks of fertilisers.
