A two-day classical dance festival ended yesterday at the Chhayanaut.
An array of Indian classical dance forms like Manipuri, Bharatnatyam, Gaudiya and Kathak was featured by both promising and renowned dancers performed at the event.
Dancers from Kolkata and Dhaka presented the glory of Manipuri dance in a conventional styles. Like previous year, Amit Chowdhury and Puja Sengupta’s performances were characteristically patent in techniques, with movement in sync with complicated counter rhythms.
Captivating dancer Rachel Priyanka Paris presented a solo performance at the festival. She took the breath way of a houseful of audience through her graceful performance on Gaudiya form.
Tabassum Ahmed and Kathak Nritya Sampradayee Kathak dance were dazzling with mesmeric recitals.
