Grameenphone and Robi, top two cellphone operators in the country, have offered iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from Apple for their customers only.
The customers of both the operators could pre-book the new generation smartphones respectively from November 14 and November 20, operator sources said.
The Apple branded phones have been launched in different countries in late October and are waiting to be unveiled in other parts of the world.
Neither Grameenphone nor Robi disclosed the prices of the two handsets, but said they will provide their customers with the handsets less than the market price. The price would be close to Tk80,000 and to Tk100,000 respectively with some data packages, said a source.
According to another source, nearly one thousand phone sets may be launched by these two operators.
