Inspector General of Police Hassan Mahmood Khandker yesterday left Dhaka for Monaco to attend the 83th yearly conference of International Criminal Police Organisation or the Interpol.
With the theme “100 years of International Police Cooperation,” the conference will be attended by
top brass police officials and delegates of the 190 member countries.
Deputy Inspector General (operations) Chowdhury Al Mamun, Assistant Inspector General of National Central Bureau Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan and Additional Police Super Montasirul Islam will also join the conference, said a press release published by the police headquarters.
State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan is scheduled to deliver a speech on “A century of collectively combating transnational crime,” on the fourth day of the conference.
