City Bank has been named the “Best Consumer Internet Bank in Bangladesh” by Global Finance, a North America based leading global financial publications.
City Bank Chairman Rubel Aziz, accompanied by the bank’s Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer Mashrur Arefin, received the award at a ceremony on October 28 in New York.
City Bank received the accolade for the success of Citytouch, an internet banking platform. The service brings together all the conveniences of branch banking to internet-enabled devices.
Rubel Aziz said: “We are inspired and will bring even more significant internet banking developments in Citytouch in near future.”
