“Monpura” girl Farhana Mili will soon appear in a Liberation War-based telefilm titled “Anonter Pakhi.” Portraying a character named Taramon Bibi, Mili will seen in a rebellious role with weapons in her hand.
Taramon Bibi was one of the female freedom fighters who engaged in direct combat in Kurigram during the war in 1971, as part of the Liberation Army, which was a guerilla force fighting the Pakistan Army.
Mili always prefers to play characters that are strong and have an impact on the audience. Her artistic looks will surely add to her portrayal of Taramon Bibi. The telefilm is expected to be released in December this year.
