Avengers-2 trailer records 43.9m views

The Avengers: Age of Ultron, the upcoming American Sci-Fi film, containing a scene of the Chittagong shipyard, has shattered the studio’s records for trailer views.

A total of 43.9mln views have been counted so far around 7:30pm on Monday.

The film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios, shot in Bangladesh, confirms IMDb.

Chidchanok Plodripu was the production manager and Sharif Ferdous Arko worked as a production runner in the Bangladesh unit.

The scene of the Chittagong shipyard in a Hollywood movie has created a stir in social media.

The trailer drew more than eight million views within just 12 hours of its release.

Within 24 hours, the trailer for the May 1, 2015 film tallied 34.3 million global views, according to the parent company Disney.

About 26.2 million of those clicks came from Marvel’s YouTube account, which would have been enough to leave the studio’s previous superhero trailers in the dust.

According to Disney, Iron Man 3 teaser was the previous record-holder, which garnered 23.14 million views within 24 hours.

The original Avengers teaser collected 20.4 million views, and Captain America:

The Winter Soldier had 23.5 million views in its first day.

The popularity of the Age of Ultron's trailer shows the notable magnitude, which also indicates that more records may yet be broken when the sequel hits theaters next year.
