Two Bangladeshis have received bullet injuries as the members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot on Ratnai border area under Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon.
The injured are Idris Ali, 25, and Chainu Miah, 30, of Thakurgaon.
Quoting the locals, Major Towhid, acting commander of 30 BGB Battalion, said: “BSF shot at them while they were trying to cut the border fence of No 382 main pillar and No 2 sub-pillar in the area early Tuesday.”
BGB has sent a letter to the BSF members to hold a flag meeting in this connection, said the official.
