A new research lab for the Pharmacy Department has been inaugurated at State University of Bangladesh (SUB) on Saturday.
Dr A M Shamim, president of the University Board of Trustees and also the chief of Lab Aid Group, was the chief guest in the programme held at the sixth floor of the university main campus in the capital.
SUB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Iftekhar Ghani Chowdhury, Advisor and former vice-chancellor of Dhaka University Professor SMA Faiz, Treasurer Major General Rtd M Shahjahan and Registrar Professor Dr AYM Ikram-ud-Daula and head of the department Hasina Yasmin were, among others, present in the progrmme.
The programme was presided by Professor Dr MA Rashid, advisor of Pharmacy department.
Three teaching Lab, an animal house, a sophisticated research lab and a well organised library have already been established in the sixth floor of the campus.
