The third annual fine art photography festival by Photoffee, “Srishti-sukher Ullas,” opened on Friday at the Dhaka Art Centre.
Veteran photographer Anwar Hossain received Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the field at the inaugural ceremony, while eminent painter and puppet artist Mustafa Monowar graced the occasion as chief guest.
The exhibition, exploring the theme of abstract photography, presents photographic images reflecting the creative thoughts of the participating artists.
A total of fifty photographs were selected from among numerous submissions, and were put on display at the three-day festival.
The best 10 were given Photoffee awards. A photo album of all the photos will be published later.
The show, organised by the Photoffee Academy of Fine-art Photography and sponsored by Sheltech, will end this evening.
