Police have recovered the decomposed body of a businessman from a market in Savar bus stand area.
The deceased is Shahidullah, 42, son of Shamsul Hoque of Bhadail area in Ashulia.
The body was recovered from the office of Khan Enterprise on the second floor of Monsur Market around 9:30am on Wednesday.
Market's businessmen said Khan Enterprise was closed for a long time.
On information from the businessmen, police broke the lock and recovered the body.
Savar model police station Officer-in-Charge Mostofa Kamal said: “The body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy. It cannot be ascertained whether it was a murder or suicide until we get the autopsy report.”
