A mother has given birth to four babies simultaneously at Seba Clinic of Lokhnath Dighirpar area in Brahmanbaria.
The mother and all her four babies are in good state, doctors said.
Khaleda Akhter, a doctor of the clinic told the Dhaka Tribune that Sharmin Akhter, 20, wife of Sohel Mia from Galania village of Kalikaccha union of Sarail upazila admitted with her labour pain at the clinic on Tuesday evening.
She gave birth three baby boys and a baby girl and all her babies are in good state, the doctor said.
Khaleda said although her delivery time was two months less than ten but she gave birth to the babies normally.
Of them, two babies were kept in incubators, she added.
One of the members of Sharmin's family informed that she has become mother for the first time.
Sharmin, daughter of Fazlul Haq, hailed from Vatpara village of North Natai union of Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila.
