Mosharraf made Industries secretary

Privatisation Commission member Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan has been made secretary of Industries Ministry.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday afternoon.

Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, who was prime accused in the much-talked-about Padma bridge graft case, has recently released from the charge.

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) released him along with other accused as the watchdog found no evidence against them after investigation.

Three other officials of Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority and Prime Minister's Office have also acquired new offices.

Industries Ministry Secretary Mohammad Moinuddin Abdullah has been made secretary of Housing and Public Works Ministry.

Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority Executive Chairman Fakhrul Islam was given posting to Privatisation Commission as its member.

Paban Chowdhury, director general of Prime Minister's Office, was transferred to Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority as its executive chairman in acting secretary status.

Housing and Public Works Ministry secretary Golam Rabbani will retire on October 26.
