A trader has been crushed under a train in Alkora village under Chauddagram upazila in Comilla.
The deceased is Wahidur Rahman, 60, resident of the village and a pigeon trader.
Locals said Wahidul was talking over the phone and crossing the railway track when Sylhet-bound Paharika Express crushed him down around 10am, killing him on the spot.
Laksam GRP police station Officer-in-Charge Ahsan Habib said: “I have heard about the accident but have not gotten any detailed information.”
