Megan Fox is fed up with being known as the “wild child” pin-up and the 28-year-old American actress said: “People insist on seeing me as a wild child, a bad girl, a naughty girl, and I don’t know why,”
“Because my life is the exact opposite. People have a hard time looking at me, knowing that I accept my sexuality and then understanding that I’m not promiscuous – they just can’t put that idea together,” she says.
“But I’ve been with Brian for ten years.”
Actor Brian Austin Green, with whom she has sons, two-year-old Noah and eight-month-old Bodhi and a stepson, Kassius, 12.
It is a career choice she says she finds easy to defend.
“You are made to feel that if you embrace your sexuality, you are an idiot or an airhead, or you have to make yourself seem more masculine.
“Why would we ever want to do that? Women are beautiful, but we’re also intelligent—and some of us are very strong.”
Megan Fox recently opened up about working alongside Will Arnett in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
“I was excited for him to come on board because I am a big Arrested Development fan. He has a lot of big laughs in the movie too, and it was just nice to have someone next to me who is also a parent and, in that sense, has the same priorities that I have now too.”
