Unidentified miscreants have slaughtered a Jubo Dal member in broad daylight at Kalinagar village under Singra upazila of Natore on Tuesday morning.
The deceased is Kamal Hossain, 40, a member of Kalom union unit Jubo Dal and also an accused in UP Chairman Fazlar Rahman murder case.
Singra police station Officer-in-Charge Shafiqul Islam said: “Unidentified miscreants swooped on Kamal and slaughtered him around 9am while he was going to Bildahar Bazar, leaving him dead on the spot.”
“No case has been filed yet in this connection. But we are trying to identify the killers.”
